Program Details: This fast DNP program can prepare you to explore advanced positions such as that of a nurse educator, nurse leader, political advocate, and nurse researcher. The hybrid format of the program offers a fine blend of online and on-campus learning. The program spans three semesters and starts with courses in advanced theory & ethical issues in advanced nursing practice, advanced statistics, evidence-based nursing practice, and theory, design & methods. The second semester takes you through health care policy, economics, epidemiology, leadership & role development in advanced nursing practice. Finally, the last semester entails completing courses in informatics and quality & safety across healthcare settings. To graduate, you must complete 32 credits and 460 hours of clinical practice.

Admission Requirements: To qualify for this program, you must have an MSN and be certified as a nurse practitioner. Additionally, the college requires you to submit a resume, all official transcripts, personal goals statement, and letters of recommendation.
